My client, an independent dealer in Northallerton, is recruiting for an experience Vehicle Damage Assessor/ Estimator to join their onsite bodyshop. You will be working with a team of professionals, liaising with the parts department to complete damage assessments and deliver great customer service as part of this process. 

The client is looking for VDAs/Estimators with a good history in the role, with Audatex experience being essential. If you are confident you could fit these requirements, this could be the role for you!

The Successful VDA/Estimator will have - 
  • Conduct detailed inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the extent of damage.
  • Document vehicle conditions accurately with reports and photos.
  • Evaluate repair estimates and determine necessary repairs.
  • Communicate assessment findings to customers, insurers, and repair shops.
  • Review repair estimates for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify any additional damages that may require attention.
  • Ensure assessments comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Provide recommendations for repair strategies and cost efficiencies.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections and communications.
  • Stay updated on repair techniques, industry policies, and regulations.
  • Assist in post-repair inspections to verify quality standards.
  • Support the claims process and negotiations as needed.
  • Use specialized tools and software for assessments.
  • Manage workload to meet deadlines and customer expectations
The Successful VDA/Estimator will receive - 
  • Excellent basic salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
