In this Dealership Accountant role, your key duties will be:
  • Preparing accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Reconciling control and vehicle funding accounts
  • Conducting vehicle stock reconciliations and audits
  • Managing payroll and internal financial processes
  • Providing financial insights and analysis to management
  • Handling additional responsibilities such as debt recovery and compliance duties
  • Supporting a positive team environment and maintaining high standards of integrity
The ideal Dealership Accountant will have:
  • At least 2 to 3 years’ experience as an assistant accountant or within a motor trade finance role
  • Essential motor trade experience is required
  • Relevant accounting qualifications such as AAT, ACCA, or CIMA, or working towards them
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with industry software 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A professional team player demonstrating integrity and discretion
