My client, an independent automotive business in Northallerton, are recruiting for an experienced Panel Beater to join their close knit team in their bodyshop. This is a client we have a history with, so you would be joining other happy candidates recently placed there!

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in the role, with the necessary qualifications or the equivalent level of skill from across your career. The client boasts their care for the employees development, and will actively pay for your accreditation training as you progress with them in your role. Sound like your next move? The Successful Panel Beater will be - 
  • Making assessments of damaged vehicles, deciding how best to repair it and estimating the time and cost for the repair.
  • Mending rusted parts of a vehicle’s bodywork.
  • Removing any dents in panels.
  • Repairing minor scratches, or making replacement panels.
  • Welding new or repaired panels into place.
  • Finishing the repair in a way that matches the rest of the bodywork or preparing the surface for a paint sprayer.
  • Keeping records of all work carried out.
The Successful Panel Beater will have - 
  • At least 3 years in the role, ideal in a Bodyshop setting.
  • Applications are encouraged from those with relevant qualifications in Panel beater or equivalent levels of experience.
  • An eye for detail and a drive to perform to the highest standard.
  • Willingness to work alone and in a team.
The Successful Panel Beater will receive - 
  • Basic Salary up to c. £36,000.
  • Excellent productivity bonus structure up to c.£45,000.
  • NVQ or Equivalent Level of Experience required.
