  • Hours: 8am – 4:45pm Monday to Thursday,  8am – 3:15pm Friday
  • Flexibility may be required for occasional overtime to deal with client’s deadlines.

We are seeking a Classic Car Technician / Mechanic for our client, who is a family business that has been established for 40 years as an Independent British dual-marque luxury and sports car specialist, covering all models from the Edwardian period to the current day. Specialising in selling, servicing and restoring these cars, they have earned a world-wide reputation for high quality workmanship, which has been rewarded with several concours winning restorations and many clients returning for the same exacting standards to maintain their valuable motor cars in their state-of-the-art workshops.

Requirements for this Classic Car Technician role:
  • We have a rare and exciting opportunity offering a permanent position for an experienced all-round vintage and classic car mechanic who is passionate and enthusiastic about their work to join the engineering team.
  • You will need to be a dependable, self-driven and a professional vehicle mechanic, you will be proficient within all aspects of mechanical and electrical diagnostics, as well as servicing, general maintenance, and restoration. 
  • You will be able to demonstrate an ability to work on cars produced from 1904 through to the mid 1960’s in an environment that demands quality workmanship.
  • It is desirable for candidates to have experience with the manufacturer our client specialise in within the luxury and sports car sector and or with experience within the classic car restoration field. You will need to be proficient, as this is not a role where parts can simply be replaced and the vehicle returned to the client.
  • You will need a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a mechanic with appropriate qualifications and or restoration experience to be considered for this position.
  • Professional integrity, good communication skills and a friendly manner are key attributes to have.
