- Salary: Up to £30-32,000 basic salary, pending experience, with additional earnings around £3,600 per annum, however this can be exceeded.

You will report to the Parts Manager and work as as part of a friendly team where you will ensure the Parts Department remains efficient which will ensure the smooth running of the centre. You will maintain effective liaison with various other departments within the business and be approachable for all customers and suppliers to assist with parts related queries. You will update and notify the Centre Manager with inventory control and maintain up to date knowledge of new or updated parts. Documentation will be a large part of the role, all paperwork and parts requisitions need to be completed accurately. The Parts Department will be your responsibility and it will need to be kept tidy at all times. It’s vital that all incoming deliveries are checked and placed in the correct places, kept securely and in good conditions and any discrepancies should be reported to the line manager.
In the first instance our client are looking for Parts Managers with recent or current experience working in the automotive industry and have a familiarity with vehicles. Automotive parts experience, ideally working with a similar accident repair center, vehicle dealership, or motor factor company would be highly beneficial but is non-essential. You will also need to be IT literate given you will work daily with an electronic parts catalogue system. You will also ideally hold a UK driving license with minimal points, and have strong customer service/sales skills with a friendly and charismatic manner.
