Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester needed in Southport (No Weekends!)
  • Basic salary negotiable - £33,000 - £36,000
  • Working Hours: Monday–Friday (8:15am - 5:15pm).
  • NO WEEKENDS 
  • Our client is seeking applications from passionate and experienced Vehicle Technicians, ideally with experience in with a franchise Main Dealer, such as Ford, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda or Hyundai  
  • Access to industry-leading training from the offset and throughout.
  • Opportunity to work for a regionally renowned, family run franchise dealership that has traded successfully for over 50 years.
Our client, a highly regarded automotive retailer, is seeking a Technician to join their team in their busy Southport branch.

What will the successful Vehicle Technician do?
  • Repair and service vehicles.
  • Complete diagnostic checks.
  • Inspect for wear and tears/general faults.
  • Complete work to DVSA standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Perform all other aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair as required.
The successful Vehicle Technician will have
  • A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2/3 desirable.
  • Current experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally operating in a Main Dealer/Independent Garage.
  • Own Set of Tools.
  • MOT License preferred, although not essential (The business will pay for you to upskill and achieve this).
  • Full UK Driving License.
