HGV Technician – Chorley
  • Fantastic Earning Potential – Up to £53,000 + Overtime!
  • Hours: Alternating shifts –Week 1: Mon–Thurs 7am–6pm , Week 2: Tues–Fri 7am–6pm. Plus Sat morning 7am–12pm (Overtime) (4 days on - 4 days off - 4.5 days on - 2.5 days off) 
We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established commercial vehicle repair business, now looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join their busy workshop in the Chorley area. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable employer offering stability, a supportive team culture, and strong earning potential.

Key Responsibilities for the HGV Technician:
  • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently.
  • Complete warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Strip, fit, and replace components as required.
  • Maintain accurate job records and uphold workshop quality standards.
What We’re Looking For in an HGV Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent (time-served also considered).
  • Proven experience in commercial vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Methodical approach with attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Full UK driving licence (HGV Class 1 advantageous).
