Duties for the MET Technician position include:
  • Conducting vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics efficiently and accurately
  • Stripping, fitting, and repairing vehicle components to manufacturer standards
  • Working within health and safety guidelines at all times
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
  • Using diagnostic equipment and specialist tools effectively
Candidate requirements for the MET Technician role:
  • Proven experience as a MET Technician or similar role in a dealership or independent garage
  • Recognised qualification such as NVQ or ATA in MET (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical and mechanical systems
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Valid UK driving licence
