  • Salary: £36,000 – £38,000 per annum
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00 + 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
  • Contract: Full-time, Permanent
We are looking for a skilled Stripper, Fitter & Polisher to join our client’s growing bodyshop team. This is a hands-on role focusing on dismantling, refitting, and polishing vehicle components, primarily on campervans and specialist vehicles.

Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Stripper/Fitter:
  • Strip vehicles for refurbishment or painting, removing panels, trims, and fittings safely
  • Refit panels, trims, and other components with precision
  • Polish vehicle surfaces to a high standard of finish
  • Ensure all work meets manufacturer and workshop quality standards
  • Support colleagues across the workshop to ensure efficient workflow
Requirements needed for the Vehicle Stripper/Fitter role:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a bodyshop or specialist vehicle environment
  • Strong understanding of panel fitting, dismantling, and polishing techniques
  • High attention to detail and quality-focused
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
