Our reputable client in Sunderland is currently recruiting a skilled Paint Sprayer to join their busy bodyshop team. The key responsibilities for a Paint Sprayer include:
  • Preparing vehicles and surfaces for spraying to ensure quality finishes
  • Applying paint, primers, and coatings in line with manufacturer specifications.
  • Colour matching and blending paints to achieve a flawless finish
  • Maintaining and cleaning spray equipment regularly
  • Ensuring all work adheres to health and safety guidelines
  • Working efficiently to meet production targets without compromising quality
  • Collaborating with team members to deliver high standards of workmanship
Requirements for the Paint Sprayer position:
  • Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer in an accident repair or bodyshop environment
  • Strong knowledge of paint spraying techniques, colour matching, and materials.
  • Experience with various painting systems and equipment
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a high-quality finish
  • NVQ, ATA, or equivalent qualifications in Automotive Refinishing or relevant standards are desirable; support to obtain or update certifications is available.
  • Full UK driving license
