We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable independent garage in Newbury, Berkshire, for the role of Vehicle Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled automotive professionals seeking to enhance their career within a well-established and family-run Independent Garage. The successful Vehicle Technician will benefit from a supportive team environment and ongoing training, including Bosch accredited programmes.

Key duties for the Vehicle Technician include:
  • Conducting vehicle servicing and repairs across a wide range of makes and models
  • Diagnosing faults using Bosch diagnostic equipment
  • Carrying out MOT testing (training provided if required)
  • Performing routine maintenance and complex repairs to Bosch standards
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a "right first time" standard
  • Upholding quality control procedures to meet company and industry standards
Candidate requirements for the Vehicle Technician role:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Automotive Maintenance and Repair
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Proven experience working within a vehicle workshop
  • Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and electrical systems
  • Motivated to develop skills and stay updated with automotive technology
