Dealership Accountant Needed in Loch Lomond Area

Our client is looking for an Accountant to join its team in the Loch Lomond Area. You MUST HAVE previous dealership experience within the motor trade to be considered for this role.

This Accountant Role is the perfect opportunity for: 
  • An Assistant Accountant who is looking to step up and be mentored over a period of time into the Dealership Accountant’s role; or
  • An existing Dealership Accountant looking for a change
  • Someone who lives locally
  • Or someone looking to relocate - move to one on the most scenic areas of the UK and benefit from a relocation package
Within this Dealership Accountant role, your typical duties will include:
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Prepayments
  • Accruals
  • Purchase Ledger Payment Run
  • Balance sheet reconciliations 
  • Journal postings
  • Payroll authority, checking & loading onto the bank 
  • Month-end payroll summary                                  
  • Payroll exceptions (bonus/overtime accruals)
  • Sending out sales ledger statements                                     
  • Fixed Asset Register (manual file of copy invoices kept)                  
  • Payroll exceptions (bonus/overtime accruals)   
  • Sending out sales ledger statements  
  • Aftersales reconciliations
  • Setting up PAYE /VAT payments
