  • Position: Light Commercial Vehicle Technician
  • Location: Northampton Main Dealer 
  • Basic Salary: £34,000 + Uncapped Bonus
  • OTE: £42,000 (Top performers earning £58,000+ last year)
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, with Saturdays on a rota (paid as overtime)

A leading main dealer in Northampton is looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy and successful workshop. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected brand that places high importance on quality, customer service, and technician development.

Responsibilities of an LCV Vehicle Technician:
  • Diagnose, service, and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and meet productivity targets
  • Keep technical knowledge up to date with manufacturer training
  • Complete vehicle health checks to company standards
  • Maintain quality and safety procedures at all times
Required Skills and Experience:
  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Proven experience in vehicle servicing, repair, and diagnostics
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • MOT Tester qualification (advantageous)
  • Previous main dealer experience (preferred but not essential)
