Duties of this Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester role include:
  • Conducting fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Accurately identifying faults and reporting on vehicle condition, safety, and performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Maintaining high levels of workmanship in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assisting with MOT testing and ensuring all vehicles meet required safety standards.
  • Working collaboratively with team members to deliver excellent customer service.
Candidate requirements for the Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester role:
  • Fully qualified Vehicle Technician to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
  • Valid MOT tester licence.
  • UK driving licence with minimal points.
  • Ability to produce high-quality work within a busy environment.
  • Strong team player with a motivated and professional approach.
  • Ideally residing within a reasonable commute of Wantage.
  • Experience in fault diagnosis, servicing, and repair.
