Vehicle Technician Vacancy - Independent Specialist Milton Keynes 
  • Position: Vehicle Technician 
  • Location: Milton Keynes
  • Basic Salary: £35,000 - £48,000 (depending on experience)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
  • 1 in 8 Saturday Mornings 8:00am - 12:00pm (Paid as overtime) 
  • Overtime Available 
  • Manufacturer Training 
My client is a successful independent prestige vehicle specialist in Milton Keynes. They are ideally seeking a senior / master technician, but are willing to look at different levels. The company offers a competitive basic wage compared to main dealerships due to lower overheads, resulting in more affordable services for customers.

The technician will work in a comfortable and modern workshop with opportunities for training and career progression. The company offers manufacturer experience of a prestigious brand outside of a main dealer environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles to the highest standards.
  • Provide expert technical advice and support to both customers and team members.
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and in line with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and identify any additional work required.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including parts and labour.
  • Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and industry trends.
Vehicle Technician Requirements:
  • Qualified to Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance. 
  • Able to provide technical advice and perform vehicle maintenance and repair work following technical procedures and manufacturer specifications.
  • Knowledge of diagnostics is highly beneficial.
  • Carry out work within the provided shift timings.
  • Possess a Full UK Driving Licence.
