  • Location: Bolton
  • Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Day Shifts Only (Overtime available at time and a half)
  • Salary: Up to £36,700 basic
  • OTE: Up to £43,000+
We’re recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading vehicle rental specialists, now looking for a skilled Motor Mechanic (LCV) to strengthen their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a large, modern workshop maintaining a substantial fleet of Light Commercial Vehicles, with excellent earning potential and genuine career development.

This role focuses heavily on Light Commercial Vehicles, offering great variety across a large fleet of vans and ensuring vehicles are safe, compliant and ready for hire.

Key Responsibilities for a Motor Mechanic (LCV):
  • Carry out maintenance and repairs on a fleet of Light Commercial Vehicles
  • Diagnose faults and complete mechanical and electrical repairs
  • Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and legally compliant
  • Complete servicing in line with manufacturer and company standards
  • Work efficiently to maintain fleet availability and minimise downtime
What We’re Looking For in a Motor Mechanic (LCV):
  • Level 2 qualified Technician with at least 3 years’ experience, or fully qualified Level 3 Technician
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Motor Mechanic
  • Experience working on Light Commercial Vehicles is highly desirable
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK driving licence
