We are looking for skilled and experienced Roadside Technicians to deliver essential roadside repairs across the UK. Duties of a Roadside Technician:

  • Deliver expert mechanical roadside repairs and vehicle diagnostics
  • Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK
  • Troubleshoot issues such as flat batteries, tyre replacements, and complex fault-finding
  • Manage your day-to-day work independently, starting and ending your shift from home
  • Ensure excellent customer service and reassurance during roadside assistance
  • Maintain your RAC van, diagnostic tools, and uniform to a high standard
Candidate specifications for the Roadside Technician role:

  • Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification or equivalent
  • At least two years’ post-qualification technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
  • Customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
