Vehicle Technician – Independent Garage
  • Location: Bromsgrove
  • Salary: Circa £35,000–£40,000 per annum (DOE)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (No weekends)
  • Holiday: 28 days including bank holidays
Our client, a busy and well-established independent garage in Bromsgrove, is looking to recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their growing workshop team. Working within a modern 10-ramp facility, this is a great opportunity for a technician seeking a stable, Monday–Friday position with no weekend work.

You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair work to a high standard across a range of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities for this Vehicle Technician role:
  • Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs
  • Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment
  • Complete work efficiently and to high quality standards
  • Carry out vehicle health checks and report additional work
  • Support MOT preparation work where required
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Ensure all job cards and documentation are completed accurately
Candidate requirements for this Vehicle Technician role:
  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (essential)
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a workshop environment
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and work quality
  • Full UK driving licence
