Are you an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician seeking a rewarding opportunity in Sidcup, Kent? Our client, a well-established family-run garage specialising in German vehicles, is looking to recruit a talented Senior Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their friendly team. - Servicing and repairing a range of German and high-performance vehicles including passenger cars, vans, and Class 7 vehicles.
- Conducting thorough vehicle diagnostics using dealer-standard equipment
- Performing complex repairs such as timing chains, gearboxes, and heavy mechanics tasks.
- Carrying out MOT Testing if qualified, or undertaking testing after qualification.
- Maintaining detailed service and repair records
- Ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld at all times
- At least 3 years post-apprenticeship experience working with premium brands
- Valid MOT test licence or proven MOT testing capability, or willingness to train to become qualified.
- Strong diagnostic skills with experience using main dealer tooling
- Ability to service, repair, and diagnose a wide range of vehicle issues.
- Own set of mechanics tools and a proactive approach to diagnostics and repairs
- Knowledge of German vehicle systems such as BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, or Porsche is highly desirable.
