HGV Technician Needed in Manchester - Days 
  • Location: Manchester
  • Working Hours: Two shift patterns availble, Option 1 – Days: 5 days per week, 6.00am – 2.30pm, 1.30pm – 10.00pm. Alternating Saturdays – 6.00am – 12.00pm. Option 2 – 4 on 4 off: 7.00am – 7.00pm, Rolling 4 on 4 off
  • Salary: £20.91 per hour
Our client, a well-established commercial vehicle dealership, is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity offering shift flexibility, strong earning potential, and long-term career stability.

Key Responsibilities for a HGV Technician: 
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on commercial vehicles
  • Diagnose faults and complete rectification work efficiently
  • Perform inspections to DVSA and manufacturer standards
  • Maintain accurate job cards and service records
  • Support a busy workshop environment with a focus on productivity and quality
What We’re Looking For in a HGV Technician: 
  • Level 3 Heavy Vehicle qualification or time-served equivalent
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic capability
  • Experience working on HGVs or LCVs
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential)
