- Location: Manchester
- Working Hours: Two shift patterns availble, Option 1 – Days: 5 days per week, 6.00am – 2.30pm, 1.30pm – 10.00pm. Alternating Saturdays – 6.00am – 12.00pm. Option 2 – 4 on 4 off: 7.00am – 7.00pm, Rolling 4 on 4 off
- Salary: £20.91 per hour
Key Responsibilities for a HGV Technician:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on commercial vehicles
- Diagnose faults and complete rectification work efficiently
- Perform inspections to DVSA and manufacturer standards
- Maintain accurate job cards and service records
- Support a busy workshop environment with a focus on productivity and quality
- Level 3 Heavy Vehicle qualification or time-served equivalent
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic capability
- Experience working on HGVs or LCVs
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential)
- 23 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
