They are currently seeking a Motorcycle Mechanic for their busy workshop. They represent a number of world renown motorcycle manufacturers, who provides a range of motorbikes for sport, touring and adventure purposes.

- To facilitate the repair and diagnosis of Motorcycle faults of both franchised manufacturer Motorbikes
- Road tests
- Bulb inspection
- Throttle inspection
- Clutch inspection
- Chain and sprockets inspection
- Tyre inspection
- Wheel bearings inspection
- Battery inspection
- Brake pads/callipers/discs inspection
- Suspension inspection
- Exhaust inspection
- Control cable inspection
- Steering head bearings strip, clean and grease
- Rear suspension linkage strip, clean and grease
- Oil and filter change
- Coolant replacement
- Brake and clutch fluid replacement
- Air filter replacement
- Spark plug replacement
- Valve clearance check
- Carburettor or throttle body balance adjustment
- Detailed fault history check, clear and reset
- Fork oil replacement
- Ensure that any bikes are repaired and serviced in a timely manner.
- Develop and upkeep a high level of technical competence
- Liaise with the Service Advisor’s and Service Manager regarding any issues
- Provide a knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient service to all workshop customers
- NVQ / IMI Level 3 Qualifications or equivalent, Level 2 and unqualified Motorcycle Mechanics may be considered dependent on experience – preferably in Motorcycle and Maintenance Repair
- Ideally Class 1 and Class 2 MOT licence
- Previous experience working within Motorcycles is preferable, Car Mechanics considered
- Excellent Communications skills
- Be able to work both independently and as a team
- Can adhere to a specific working process
- Be willing to develop and expand on your mechanical knowledge
- Full UK Motorcycle Licence.
