Our client, a reputable dealership located in West Thurrock, is looking to hire a dedicated Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop. This is an outstanding chance to advance your career within a professional and supportive environment.

  • Competitive basic salary between £30,000 and £38,000, depending on experience
  • Bonus schemes to boost your earnings
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 9am to 6pm
  • Alternate Saturdays working 9am to 12pm (with additional techs on duty for rotational Saturday shifts)

  • Support for ongoing training and development, including EV qualification support
Duties of the Vehicle Technician position:
  • Conduct diagnostic, repair and maintenance work
  • Ensure all work carried out meets safety and quality standards
  • Assist other technicians as part of a collaborative team
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving automotive technologies, including EV systems
Candidate requirements for the Vehicle Technician role:
  • Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a busy workshop environment
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills
  • Fully qualified with relevant NVQ or City & Guilds certifications
  • EV qualification is essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
