HGV Technician Vacancy for Leicester Main Dealer
  • Basic: £43,650+
  • Rotating Shifts: 06:00–14:30 & 13:30–22:00
  • Alternate Saturdays: 08:00–12:00 (Overtime Paid)

What you’ll be doing:
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and vans to DVSA standards
  • Diagnosing faults and completing mechanical and electrical repairs efficiently
  • Ensuring all vehicles meet DVSA and health & safety requirements
  • Supporting and mentoring apprentices
  • Working closely with the Shift Supervisor and Workshop Controller
What we’re looking for:
  • Level 3 qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent in Commercial Vehicles)
  • Proven experience working on LCVs and HGVs
  • Main Dealer experience preferred
  • Own tools (tooling allowance provided)
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Strong diagnostic ability with a proactive, team-focused attitude
