Paint Sprayer / Prepper Vacancy - Northampton Independent Vehicle Repair Centre 
  • Basic Salary: Circa £40,000 Basic
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Optional Saturday Overtime Available
Our client, a well-regarded independent vehicle repair centre based just outside of Northampton, is looking to recruit an experienced Paint Sprayer / Prepper to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, quality-focused bodyshop with three paint bays currently in operation and plans to expand in the future. The business has built a strong local reputation for high standards of workmanship and customer care, offering a stable and supportive working environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out high-quality paint spraying to a variety of vehicles
  • Preparing vehicles ready for paint, including masking, sanding and priming
  • Supporting with some panel repairs where required
  • Assisting with basic strip and fit duties
  • Working efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail
Requirements:
  • Strong, time-served experience as a Paint Sprayer
  • Confident completing prep work to a high standard
  • Ability to carry out minor panel and strip/fit work (desirable)
  • No formal qualifications required, practical experience and skillset are key
  • Reliable, self-motivated and able to work well within a small team
