  • Pay: £40k - £45k Basic + £10k Bonus
  • Hours: 42 hours per week Monday - Friday only flexible start / finish time 
Are you an experienced Workshop Controller seeking a rewarding opportunity within a large, professional main dealership in Crawley? We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a dedicated Workshop Controller to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent chance to step into a well-established dealership offering a competitive salary and bonus structure, with room for career progression.

Duties of the Workshop Controller include:
  • Overseeing daily workshop operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
  • Managing and coordinating a team of workshop technicians and controllers
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and communication
  • Organising job prioritisation and workshop flow
  • Monitoring workshop productivity and labour sales
  • Maintaining high standards of vehicle repair and maintenance
  • Supporting team members with technical and operational issues as needed
Candidate requirements for the Workshop Controller role:
  • Proven experience as a Workshop Controller / Workshop Manager or similar role within the motor trade
  • Strong management and organisational skills
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of workshop processes and KPI management
  • Relevant technical qualifications or experience, such as Master Technician or Service Manager background
