Our client is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to support their busy workshop, offering excellent career progression and a comprehensive benefits package.

Benefits of this Vehicle Technician role:
  • Competitive basic salary up to £40,000, flexible based on experience and skills.
  • Overtime payable at time and a half, available occasionally
  • Working Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.30pm, with a Saturday rota (1-in-2) from 8.00am to 1.00pm.
  • Holiday allowance of 20 days plus bank holidays

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Perform routine servicing and minor repairs on various makes and models, predominantly German brands.
  • Diagnose electronic and electrical systems to identify faults
  • Use technical knowledge to troubleshoot complex vehicle issues and repair electronic systems
  • Maintain detailed repair reports and communicate effectively with team members
  • Keep the workshop environment clean and organised
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician role:
  • Technical skills such as understanding wiring diagrams and diagnosing electronic systems
  • Previous experience working on a variety of vehicles, with a good mechanical foundation.
  • Licence to drive full UK vehicles
  • Willingness to work independently, think critically, and take initiative.
  • Relevant qualifications, recent training, or industry recognised certifications preferred.
  • Knowledge of German vehicles is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a driven attitude
