Duties as a Warranty Administrator:
  • Accurately handle warranty claims, documentation, and submissions in line with manufacturer procedures
  • Maintain precise records of vehicle and customer details, ensuring all relevant information is captured
  • Liaise effectively with customers, workshop staff, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Manage warranty and service administration, including invoicing and job costing
  • Promote additional services, warranties, and loyalty programmes to maximise department profitability
  • Ensure exceptional customer service at all times, building trust and confidence in the company's offerings
  • Support the department’s loading process to optimise customer throughput and efficiency
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism, courtesy, and communication across all customer interactions
  • Follow all company policies and health and safety procedures
Requirements for the Warranty Administrator role:
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle customer queries efficiently and professionally
  • Attention to detail and accurate recording of information
  • Proven experience in warranty administration within the motor trade or similar environment is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of warranty procedures, documentation, and industry legislation advantageous
  • Familiarity with computerised recording systems and trade practices
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required
  • Right to work in the UK is essential, as sponsorship is not available
