Key duties of the Assistant Service Centre Manager will involve:
  • Supporting the Centre Manager in daily operations and overall management of the centre
  • Assisting with workshop activities and supporting technicians
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through high service standards
  • Managing stock and parts inventory effectively
  • Achieving and exceeding centre targets and KPIs
  • Upholding health and safety standards and company policies
  • Playing a proactive role in team coaching and mentoring
  • Contributing to the growth of the business through account management and business development
Requirements for the Assistant Service Centre Manager position:
  • Technical or mechanical background with solid automotive knowledge
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the motor trade
  • Strong understanding of car technology and workshop processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to support and mentor technicians and team members
  • Full UK driving licence held for at least 6 months
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols within an automotive environment
  • Commercial awareness and ability to maximise business opportunities
