Are you an experienced MOT Tester looking for a rewarding opportunity in Glasgow? Our client, a leading automotive retailer with a strong national presence, is seeking skilled MOT Testers to join their busy branch in Glasgow. Duties of the MOT Tester position:
  • Perform MOT tests accurately and efficiently in line with DVSA standards
  • Carry out vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs and maintenance
  • Test vehicles adhering to all legal and safety requirements
  • Complete relevant documentation and maintain detailed records of each test
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining findings and recommendations clearly
  • Assist with minor repairs and general maintenance as required
Candidate Profile for the MOT Tester role:
  • Hold a valid MOT Tester qualification (Ideally, with recent DVSA approval)
  • A few years of experience working within a dealership or independent workshop environment
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent would be advantageous
  • Full UK driving licence, as vehicle movement is part of the role
  • A strong desire to deliver excellent customer service and vehicle safety
  • Motivated to further develop skills and progress within a leading automotive retailer
