Commercial Body Fitter / Fabricator (Coach Builder) – Nottinghamshire
  • Basic: Circa £50,000
  • OTE: £55,000+
  • Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm
  • Overtime available at enhanced rate
We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Body Fitter / Fabricator to join a busy and professional commercial bodyshop in Nottinghamshire. This position is ideal for a skilled, old-school coach builder who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and has strong experience working with light and heavy commercial vehicles.

What you’ll be doing as a Coach Builder / Fabricator:
  • Carrying out body fitting and fabrication work on light and heavy commercial vehicles
  • Strip and refit of commercial vehicle body components
  • Repairing and replacing panels, structural components, and bodywork
  • Welding, fabrication, and coach building tasks to restore vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Working with workshop teams to ensure efficient turnaround times
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high-quality finish
What we’re looking for the Coach Builder / Fabricator role:
  • Qualified Body Fitter, Fabricator, or Coach Builder
  • Strong experience working on commercial vehicles (HGV, vans, or specialist vehicles)
  • Skilled in fabrication, welding, and structural body repairs
  • Experience within a commercial bodyshop or accident repair environment
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
