We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled HGV Shift Technician to work within their busy workshop. As the HGV Shift Technician, your main duties will include:
  • Carrying out routine maintenance on HGVs
  • Diagnosing and repairing various vehicle faults
  • Conducting necessary repairs to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Completing accurate technical documentation
  • Assisting with vehicle inspections and quality control procedures
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment
Requirements for the HGV Shift Technician position:
  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills on heavy goods vehicles
  • A recognised qualification such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Flexibility to work the shifts as specified – 0600 to 1530 or 1330 to 2200, including Saturday mornings.
