On behalf of our client, a well-established independent vehicle dealer in Workington, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Parts and Warranty Manager to oversee their parts and warranty department. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to step up into a supervisory or managerial role, offering control, independence, and the chance to lead the department.
Key Responsibilities of the Parts and Warranty Manager:
- Take full control of the parts and warranty department, managing day-to-day operations with autonomy and confidence.
- Oversee and support Parts and Warranty in and outgoings for the business
- Manage parts inventory, ensuring stock levels are optimised and costs are controlled effectively.
- Process warranty claims accurately and efficiently, liaising directly with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of warranty claims, parts orders, and stock movements.
- Implement and improve departmental procedures to enhance efficiency and customer service standards.
- Provide exceptional leadership and support to team members, fostering a positive working environment.
- Stay informed of manufacturer policies and warranty procedures, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Proven experience in automotive parts and warranty management, ideally within a dealership environment.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage and develop a team.
- Good organisational and administrative skills with a focus on control and independence.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with internal teams, manufacturers, and customers.
- Ambition to progress into a managerial role, supporting Parts and Warranty Advisors looking to develop in their careers.
- Knowledge of dealership management systems and warranty procedures.
- Salary package of c.£35,000 per annum.

- Hours - Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 17:30
