  • Monday to Friday, with 1 in 4 Saturdays
Are you a skilled and experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician seeking a rewarding opportunity? Our client, a leading provider of breakdown services across the UK, is currently recruiting for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their team covering Exeter and the surrounding region. This is a fantastic chance to work in a dynamic environment with a competitive salary and excellent career development prospects.

  • Competitive starting basic salary of £38,625 with an OTE circa £53,000
  • Up to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm
  • Alternating Saturdays with a weekday off when Saturday is worked

Duties of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:
  • Conducting vehicle repairs and routine servicing
  • Performing diagnostic checks to identify faults and issues
  • Replacing electrical components and undertaking electrical system health checks
  • Carrying out brake replacements and general vehicle maintenance
  • Inspecting vehicles for wear and tear and ensuring compliance with DVSA standards
  • Supporting safety recall campaigns when required
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Candidate requirements:
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in automotive repair or relevant field
  • Proven experience as a Mobile Vehicle Technician or Mobile Mechanic
  • Strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with electrical vehicle servicing
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
  • Ability to work independently and manage own schedule
  • Full UK driving licence
