Are you a skilled Mobile Vehicle Technician looking for an exciting opportunity in the Plymouth area? We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Vehicle Technician on behalf of a leading breakdown service provider. This position offers a competitive starting basic salary of £38,625 with an OTE of approximately £50,000. Duties of a Mobile Vehicle Technician will include:
  • Perform diagnostic checks and identify faults across a diverse range of vehicle types
  • Conduct routine servicing, brake replacements, electrical component replacements, and health checks
  • Service electrical vehicles, including software updates and electrical system diagnostics
  • Complete safety recall campaigns as required
  • Ensure all work complies with DVSA standards and maintains high levels of safety and quality
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication during repairs and servicing
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used
Requirements needed for this Mobile Vehicle Technician vacancy: 
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in automotive repair
  • Proven experience as a Mobile Vehicle Technician or similar role
  • Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Full clean driving licence
