- Location: Kidderminster
- Salary: £45,000 per annum
- Hours: 21:30 – 08:00, Monday to Thursday
As part of the night shift, you will diagnose and repair complex technical issues, ensuring customers’ vehicles remain safe, compliant, and on the road. You will also contribute to the high standards of quality and service the company is known for, while benefitting from ongoing training and career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform major and minor repairs on Mercedes-Benz vans and other LCVs.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance services.
- Maintain workshop inventory and cleanliness, including oil spills and dust.
- Collaborate with repair teams to diagnose and plan vehicle repairs.
- Maintain detailed vehicle records using Keyloop/Kerridge systems.
- Complete warranty claims and escalate issues when necessary.
- Carry out wheel alignment and tyre fitting.
- Complete customer documentation accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI qualification in LCV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance (Passenger Car experience considered).
- Proven experience in diagnostic work and service repairs on LCVs.
- Ability to identify worn and faulty components in line with DVSA standards.
- Full UK driving licence for relevant vehicle classes.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality workmanship.
