Our client, a well-established multi-franchise Service Centre in Indian Queens, is seeking talented Vehicle Technicians at all levels, including MOT capable technicians, to join their expanding team.

Benefits of the Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester role:
  • Competitive basic salary ranging from £35,000 for entry-level to over £45,000 for experienced technicians
  • Attractive bonus scheme offering up to approximately £10,000 on target
  • Working hours from 08:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work

Duties of a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:
  • Conduct vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing to manufacturer standards
  • Carry out MOT testing for MOT testers or training candidates to achieve the necessary qualification
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through quality workmanship
  • Ensure all work is completed within specified timeframes
  • Keep accurate records in line with company procedures
  • Assist colleagues in a team environment to meet workshop targets
Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or MOT Tester in a busy workshop
  • Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
  • Full UK driving licence; candidates with problematic convictions on their licence should be avoided
  • MOT certification or willingness to train and obtain MOT licence
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and deliver excellent service
  • A team player with good communication skills
  • Motivation to develop skills and progress within the automotive industry
