Are you an experienced Customer Service Advisor seeking a new challenge within the motor trade? An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-established bodyshop in Burgess Hill as a Service Advisor.

This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary of up to £34,000 and involves a small amount of driving. This is an ideal position for a motivated individual looking to develop their skills in a busy environment while enjoying a balanced work schedule and attractive benefits.

Duties of the Service Advisor:
  • Manage customer enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
  • Oversee the end-to-end process of repairs, including booking in vehicles and providing updates to customers
  • Liaise with insurance companies to facilitate smooth claims and repairs
  • Coordinate with internal staff to ensure efficient workflow within the bodyshop
  • Assist with administrative tasks around the bodyshop, including gaining knowledge in estimating
  • Handle a small amount of driving, such as delivering vehicles or collecting parts when required
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and smooth operation of the bodyshop team
Requirements of the Service Advisor:
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer service position within the motor trade
  • Driving Licence Essential
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Resilient and able to handle challenging situations professionally
  • Customer-focused attitude with an adaptable, flexible approach
  • Willingness to learn about bodyshop processes, estimating, and insurance liaising is advantageous but not essential
