  • Salary: Up to £22 per hour plus bonus scheme and overtime at time and a half. 
  • Hours: 4-on/4-off shift pattern from 6am to 6pm.

Duties of a HGV Technician:
  • Carry out service, maintenance, and repair work on HGVs to a high standard within manufacturer's timeframes
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and troubleshooting of vehicle faults
  • Support workshop colleagues with technical issues and innovative solutions
  • Complete safety inspections and document all diagnostic results, repairs, and servicing accurately
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures
  • Work efficiently to meet team targets and uphold workshop productivity
  • Maintain work areas and tools to a high standard of safety and organisation
requirements:
  • Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Goods Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Practical experience post-qualification is highly desirable
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of HGV faults
  • Committed, enthusiastic, and capable of working under pressure in a busy environment
  • A good team player with excellent communication skills
  • Holding a current HGV driving licence is advantageous but not essential
  • Motivated individual with a keen eye for quality and safety
