  • Salary: Up to £34,000 basic + OTE £39,000
  • Hours: Monday to Friday + 1 in 2 Saturdays (with a day off in the week when working Saturday) 41.5 hours per week

Our client is one of the leading automotive groups in the country, and they are looking for a qualified MOT Tester to join a reputable and professional vehicle service provider in Shrewsbury. This position is focused solely on MOT testing (Class 4 & 7), ensuring vehicles meet DVSA safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities as an MOT Tester with our client:
  • Conduct MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations.
  • Accurately record findings and complete all necessary documentation.
  • Identify and advise customers on any repair or maintenance requirements.
  • Ensure all work meets legal and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.

Requirements in this MOT Testing position:
  • MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7) – Essential.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair – Preferred.
  • Previous experience working as an MOT Tester in an independent garage or main dealer.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Full UK driving licence.
