Service Advisor Vacancy - Independent Service Centre Leighton Buzzard
  • Position: Service Advisor
  • Location: Leighton Buzzard 
  • Salary: Circa £30,000 (Negotiable with experience)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (1 in 2 Saturdays)
We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy independent service centre, acting as the first point of contact for customers and a key link between the workshop and front-of-house.

This is a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You’ll be dealing with a mix of retail customers, service bookings, and ongoing workshop jobs, so organisation and communication are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greeting customers and managing front desk operations
  • Handling incoming calls and booking work
  • Liaising between customers and technicians
  • Ordering parts and updating job progress
  • Managing schedules and ensuring smooth workflow
Requirements:
  • Previous Service Advisor experience within the motor trade
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Confident in a busy, sometimes high-pressure environment
  • Well-organised with good attention to detail
  • Able to build rapport with both customers and workshop staff
