MET Technician – Derby
  • Basic: £45,000 DOE
  • OTE: £55,000
  • Monday to Friday | 8:00–4:30 or 8:30–5:00 (40,42.5,45 Hour contracts available)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced M.E.T Technician to join a leading, prestige Accident Repair Centre in Derby. Working with some of the world’s most desirable automotive brands, this position is ideal for a skilled Technician who takes pride in precision, quality, and attention to detail.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Stripping and refitting mechanical, electrical, and trim components
  • Preparing vehicles to a high standard for repair and handover
  • Diagnosing faults and identifying additional work required
  • Communicating effectively with Bodyshop Advisors and colleagues
  • Maintaining high levels of product and technical knowledge
What we’re looking for:
  • Previous experience as an M.E.T Technician in a Bodyshop, or Accident Repair Centre
  • Experience working on premium or prestige vehicles (desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
  • Confident using diagnostic equipment and computer systems
  • ATA qualification (advantageous but not essential)
