Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator required for a reputable large accident repair group in Sunderland – an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team within a leading accident repair operation.

This role offers an excellent basic salary of up to £42,000 (dependent on experience) with an OTE of up to £50,000. Audatex experience is essential for this position. 

Our client, a prominent accident repair group in Sunderland, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator to join their busy on-site bodyshop. You will be working alongside a team of professionals, liaising with the parts department, and delivering exceptional customer service through accurate damage assessments and detailed reports.

The successful Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator will have:
  • Conduct detailed inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the extent of damage
  • Document vehicle conditions accurately with reports and photos
  • Evaluate repair estimates and determine necessary repairs
  • Communicate assessment findings effectively to customers, insurers, and repair teams
  • Review repair estimates for accuracy and completeness
  • Identify any additional damages that may need attention
  • Ensure assessments comply with industry standards and safety regulations
  • Provide recommendations for repair strategies and cost efficiencies
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections and communications
  • Stay updated on repair techniques, industry policies, and regulations
  • Assist in post-repair inspections to verify quality standards
  • Support the claims process and negotiations as needed
  • Use specialized tools and software, including Audatex, for assessments
  • Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines and customer expectations
The Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator will receive:
  • A highly competitive basic salary up to £42,000 depending on experience
  • An OTE of up to £50,000 depending on basic salary
  • Audatex experience is essential for the role
  • No weekend working
