Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician seeking a new challenge in Blackpool?

Our client, a well-established family-run independent garage specialising in premium automotive brands, is currently recruiting a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated technician to work in a reputable environment that values work-life balance and technical expertise.

Duties as a Vehicle Technician will include:
  • Carry out complex repairs including turbos, clutches, and EGR valves
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of premium brand vehicles
  • Conduct vehicle health checks and inspections ensuring safety standards are met
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using the latest manufacturer equipment
  • Record vehicle condition reports accurately and efficiently
  • Replace timing belts, clutches, and carry out light engine work where required
Requirements that the Vehicle Technician will need:
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • At least five years of recent workshop experience, ideally within a Germany franchise environment
  • Experience working on premium brands such as Land Rover, Audi, Mercedes-Benz or Volkswagen
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Sound knowledge of diagnostic equipment and vehicle recording processes
  • Experience repairing timing belts, clutch replacements, and light engine work
