Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician or MOT Tester seeking an exciting new opportunity in Horley, Surrey? Our client, a well-established and reputable family-run garage group, is looking to recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their friendly and professional team. • Competitive basic salary up to £37,000, with a realistic OTE of up to £40,000 including bonuses and overtime

Duties
• Diagnosing vehicle faults accurately and efficiently
• Conducting servicing, mechanical repairs, and routine maintenance on a wide range of vehicles
• Performing MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards
• Assisting with repairs such as cambelts, clutches, and engine diagnostics
• Maintaining detailed and clear records of work carried out and communicating test results to customers
• Working within health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment

Candidate spec
• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification in automotive repair
• Proven experience working on multiple vehicle makes and models, including vans and fleet vehicles
• MOT testing certification or willingness to train
• Full UK driving licence with a clean record preferred
• High attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
• Enthusiastic attitude towards ongoing professional development and learning
• Ability to work efficiently within a team and support colleagues

Additional skills that are advantageous include experience with advanced diagnostics, engine rebuilds, turbo repairs, or other specialised repairs. Flexibility to participate in overtime and KPI bonus schemes is also desirable.
