Are you an experienced automotive professional seeking a new challenge? We are currently recruiting a knowledgeable and driven Transaction Manager for a well-established dealership in Letchworth, Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident individual to take their sales career to the next level whilst playing a key role in a respected motor retail environment.
As a Transaction Manager, you will be responsible for managing the sale of finance, insurance, warranties, and other value-added products, ensuring full compliance with FCA regulations. You will support the sales team by offering expert advice, assisting with in-house deals, appraising part exchanges and guiding customers seamlessly through their purchase process. Leading by example, you will mentor and develop your team to enhance their expertise, particularly around finance and insurance products. Your efforts will contribute to the dealership’s success through accurate performance reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
Our Client is offering the successful Transaction Manager:

- Previous Experience As A Business / Transaction Manager Required
- Facilitate the sale of finance, insurance, warranties, and value-added products in accordance with FCA guidelines
- Support sales executives by providing advice and assisting with deal closures
- Appraise part exchanges and guide customers throughout their purchase journey
- Lead, mentor and develop the sales team to maximise performance and product knowledge
- Manage performance reports related to finance and insurance, driving continuous improvement
- Experience as a Business or Transaction Manager in a franchised automotive dealership is preferred, but high-performing Sales Executives or Sales Controllers ready to step into this role will also be considered
- Strong understanding of finance, insurance, and FCA regulations
- Organised, confident, and capable of leading and inspiring a team
- Customer-focused with a proactive and can-do attitude
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently
