Our client, a premium dealership in Bishop Stortford, is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a brand leading employer, utilise the latest technology, and develop your skills in a supportive environment.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Conducting vehicle health checks and pre-delivery inspections on both new and used vehicles
  • Performing routine servicing and repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, including basic fault finding
  • Fitting accessories and additional customer-requested modifications
  • Completing documentation accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with warranty requirements
  • Road testing vehicles to verify that faults have been resolved
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, either in a franchise dealership or independent garage
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Self-motivated with a keen eye for quality and attention to detail
  • Strong team player with a willingness to learn and develop skills further
  • Knowledge or experience with diagnostics, MOT testing, and electric vehicles is desirable but not essential
