Duties as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic will include:
  • Conduct vehicle health checks using advanced diagnostic tools
  • Perform servicing and repairs in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards
  • Complete warranty and repair work efficiently and accurately
  • Road test vehicles to ensure faults are fully resolved
  • Maintain accurate and thorough service records
  • Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards in all tasks
Requirements that the Vehicle Technician / Mechanic will need:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic within a dealership or independent garage
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • MOT licence preferred (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience with diagnostics, MOT, and EV systems is advantageous
  • Self-motivated with a strong commitment to quality work
  • Ability to work well within a team and support colleagues effectively
