  • Hours: 40 hours per week - workshop is open 7am - 6pm Monday - Friday

Our client, a reputable insurance-approved Accident Repair Centre in Plumstead, is seeking a skilled MET Technician to join their busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to work in a well-equipped workshop with flexible hours and attractive pay rates.

  • Competitive hourly rate of between £20 and £22 per hour, plus overtime opportunities
  • Overtime paid at competitive rates
  • Working hours of 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling over the week
  • Modern, fully equipped workshop open from 7am to 6pm Monday through Friday
  • Opportunity for ongoing training and development, including ATA or NVQ Level 3 qualifications for those eligible

Duties as a MET Technician will include:
  • Carry out specialist MET repairs ensuring all work meets quality standards
  • Trained in geometries and other advanced repair techniques
  • Complete repairs efficiently within allocated timeframes
  • Work closely with the team to maintain high standards of repair quality
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
  • Communicate effectively with customers, insurers and team members regarding repair progress
Requirements that the MET Technician will need:
  • Proven experience as a MET Technician or Auto Electrician in a similar environment
  • ATA or NVQ Level 3 qualification is preferred; our client is willing to support your accreditation if you possess strong skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
  • Reliable and committed to delivering work to a high standard
  • Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to a busy workshop schedule
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
