Are you a skilled roadside mechanic looking for a dynamic and rewarding opportunity? We are working on behalf of a reputable client who is seeking a Roadside Mechanic to join their team covering the Enfield area.

This position offers the chance to work in a mobile capacity, providing essential support to motorists in need and offering a competitive salary package.

  • Basic salary of £41,600 per annum, with potential earnings of up to £66,000 including overtime
  • Weekday 40-hour shift pattern with shifts scheduled up to 12 months in advance

Duties as a Roadside Vehicle Technician will include:
  • Attend breakdowns across the Enfield region, providing immediate roadside repairs where possible
  • Arrange recovery for vehicles that cannot be repaired on-site
  • Provide professional and efficient customer service to motorists in need
  • Complete accurate job documentation and update relevant logs
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
Requirements that the Roadside Vehicle Technician will need:
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a roadside or mobile mechanic role
  • Full UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Strong fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional approach
  • Flexibility to work weekends, with up to 50% of weekends on rota (generally less)
